AITP Omaha has donated books, equipment and money in the following areas to
help our community:
- AITP Omaha has donated over $15,000 in books and money to the Omaha
Public Library over the past years. For the year of 2002, we donated over
$1500 in technology books to the
Omaha Public Library.

- Scholarships - Since 1996, AITP Omaha has provided over $50,000 in
scholarships to area college students.
- AITP Omaha is a continuing sponsor of the Metropolitan Science and
Engineering Fair. For the past three years AITP has presented a "Teacher of the Year" award
as well as prizes for best IT projects. A $1000 cash award has been given to the
teacher who "Best exemplifies the goals and objectives of MSEF and AITP".
- Community service projects - AITP Omaha is always interested in
assisting with information technology projects, the membership volunteer
for speeches and limited consultations in our immediate region.
- Professional Development - AITP Omaha sponsors presentations and
speeches with other local Information Technology groups.
- Our major contribution to information technology in the immediate
region is our annual computer conference and exposition -
INFOTEC.
